This policy describes how the Tegaki mobile application (“the app”) handles information when you use it on your devices.
Summary
- Tegaki is designed to work primarily on your device.
- Study progress and related data are stored locally using on-device storage (including SQLite) managed by the app.
- The app does not require you to create an account in the version this policy describes.
- The app does not request operating-system permissions (camera, microphone, photos, files, etc.) in the version this policy describes.
- We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.
Information the app processes
On-device app data. Content you create in the app (for example study progress, preferences, and data loaded from bundled or imported dictionaries) is processed and stored on your device to provide app functionality.
Diagnostics and OS services. Apple and Google may collect diagnostic, usage, or crash information according to your device settings and their policies. That collection is governed by Apple and Google, not by this policy alone.
Network. Tegaki does not send your study data or on-device app content to our servers. Your device, operating system, or app store may still use the network for software updates, platform services, and similar functions; any technical data from those processes is handled by Apple, Google, or your network provider under their own terms and policies.
Permissions
The version of the app covered by this policy does not request operating-system permissions (such as camera, microphone, photos, or file access). If that changes, we will update this policy before those features are made available.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your on-device app data or content with third parties for marketing, analytics, or similar purposes. We do not provide your study data to advertisers or analytics providers. We may disclose information only where required by applicable law.
Retention and deletion
On-device data remains on your device until you remove it (for example by deleting app data or uninstalling the app). We do not operate a user account backend in the version this policy describes.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 as a separate audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe information was collected from a child under 13 in error, please contact us through our Support page.
Changes
We may update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the date of the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes take effect may constitute acceptance where applicable law allows.
